SOLITARY MOMENT

This series of monotypes Solitary MomenT is a heartbreaking window through which Solitary Human Forms, the title of this important series of prints, express a modern day crisis of loneliness and despair.

It is also about disconnection, loss, and the mourning of a viable existence that once was. 

HOPE—remains— the last thing to die. Faith lingers, imagining the return of a life worth living.  

Solitary Human Moment

Exiled

 Homeless

Disconnected

Helpless

and inwardly Vulnerable.

Poised and clothes-less

Stranded precariously 

in a time-less place

where space envelopes 

and numbs the sight,

Neither imposing; no one responding

to sound-less pleas of melting tears.

An unshakable wall freezes time.

A glimmer of luminosity pierces a forlorn soul

and ignites the heart with a hope 

and a new start of unknowing is a journey journey.
